For Mac and Safari
Click the "Apply Theme" link below the theme while signed into iGoogle. When the theme pops up and is showing on the screen, click on Safari, scroll to preferences, click "General", then click "Set to current page" and select yes or OK.
I have both IE-8 and Firefox 3.5.5 installed and verify that the system is working on a regular basis.
Note: Occasionally when you click on a theme to preview it, your page will show a plain theme. That means the system is busy and it will often work momentarily if you try again.
If you have a problem installing or removing a theme, after following the instructions here, contact me by e-mail and I will help you.
Before you install one of my themes, you are simply signed into iGoogle and your homepage is iGoogle. That means you can go into the theme library and change your theme within the iGoogle system by merely selecting a theme in the library. When you select a different theme in the library, your homepage is still iGoogle but you just have a different theme.
If you go back into the iGoogle library of gadgets or themes, when you leave the library, you may see the last theme you selected in iGoogle appear on your homepage. It's there because that's what you installed in the iGoogle system. Just click on your homepage icon on your console, and you are right back to my theme which is installed as your homepage.
If you have selected one of my themes as your homepage, and you then want to install a theme from the iGoogle Library as your homepage, you should first change your homepage back to iGoogle. Remove my theme address as your homepage and select iGoogle. You can then go into the iGoogle library and change themes.
If you don't have an iGoogle Homepage and want to try it, go here and follow the tutorial.
